Exam-focused support for Edexcel and Cambridge IGCSE/GCSE — past papers, mark-scheme technique, and targeted revision.
Book a free intro session →Most lessons start from something concrete: a recent topic from school, homework or a class worksheet, or an upcoming test or mock. We clear up confusion, then move on to a small set of carefully chosen exam-style questions from the student's board. The focus is on choosing the right method, laying out work clearly, and avoiding common traps.
When mocks or exams are near, more lesson time is spent on past papers and shorter timed sections. We practise reading questions properly, managing time, and writing solutions in a way that matches the mark scheme. After each paper or section, we go through mistakes in detail and turn them into a short list of things to watch out for next time.
Progress across topics and past papers is tracked throughout. Parents are kept informed around important tests and mocks — not with lengthy reports, but with a clear picture of where things actually stand.
Most lessons start from something specific the student already has: a recent topic from class, some homework, or an upcoming quiz, test, or mock. We sort out any confusion on those questions first, then move on to a small set of board-appropriate exam questions that we choose for that topic.
For students aiming for higher grades, especially closer to the exam, more of this time is spent on the harder questions toward the end of the paper, not the easy warm-ups. For geometry topics in particular, GeoGebra is used to make constructions and relationships visible before moving to the formal solution — a step that often unlocks questions students were otherwise stuck on.
After each session, clear written notes with full, clean solutions are prepared and made available to the student. At this level, being organised is often just as important as understanding the maths — so sessions also help students build a sense of where they are and what still needs attention.
