Exam-focused support for Edexcel and Cambridge IGCSE/GCSE — past papers, mark-scheme technique, and targeted revision.
Book a free intro session →This course supports students through IGCSE and GCSE Mathematics, with particular focus on Higher tier and the Edexcel and Cambridge boards. The aim is solid exam performance — not just learning topics in isolation, but building the technique that turns understanding into marks: choosing the right method, laying out work clearly, and avoiding the kinds of mistakes that quietly cost grades.
When mocks or final exams are near, more time goes to past papers and timed sections. We practise reading questions properly, managing time, and writing solutions in a way that matches the mark scheme. After each paper, mistakes get categorised by topic and question type — not just corrected, but tracked, so the same gap doesn't appear three months later in the actual exam.
Lessons are built around what each student actually needs. That usually starts from something specific they already have — current homework, a recent topic from class, or an upcoming mock — but it's grounded in something larger: a running picture of where the student is across the whole syllabus.
We track progress topic by topic. Each strand of the curriculum has a current state — confident, getting there, or still shaky — built up from how the student handles questions across past papers, board-style exercises, and class problems. When a topic shows weakness, lesson time concentrates there. When it's strong, we move on. This avoids the most common pattern in exam prep, where students keep practising what they're already good at and never quite close the real gaps.
Resources are chosen to match what each student needs at each point — past papers, board-style problems, and material built specifically for the student. As Prime Colors Math grows, our own Math Webb platform will become the primary practice tool, with adaptive problem selection driven by the same tracking data.
After each session, written notes with full solutions are shared with the student, organised by topic so they're easy to return to before tests or the final exam.
